Quotes by General George S. Patton 11/11/1885–12/21/1945) was an officer in the United States Army best known for his leadership as a general during World War II .  U.S. Third Army, under his leadership advanced farther, captured more enemy prisoners, & liberated more territory in less time than any other army in history.

“Accept the challenges so that you can feel the exhilaration of victory.” There is no other feeling like the one you get when you accomplish something you didn’t think you could do. When you get to your goal you will have exploding confidence in yourself! The harder the challenge the better the feeling so accept your biggest challenges don’t just dream it! Say it, Believe it, Achieve it!

“Better to fight for something than live for nothing.“ Fitness is everyone’s fight!  Some just choose to get defeated.  Feeling great and confident about your body is definitely something to fight for, what else are you fighting for?  Your job probably, well fitness will help you handle that stress and perform at your peak.

“There is only one sort of discipline, perfect discipline.” You might ask how did I lose 60 pounds. My answer is Discipline.  If you know what works and stick to a plan EVERY DAY you will achieve success.  Your workout routine should be prioritized right under work and placed in your schedule.  If your excuse is not good enough for you to miss work then is shouldn’t be good enough to missed your scheduled workout.

“The test of success is not what you do when you are on top.  Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom.” This is the law of Failure.  Everyone fails, that’s what makes us human.  So you ate too much or missed your workout.  Get back on track.  If you were driving to the beach and you got lost you wouldn’t turn around and go home right?  You’d find the correct road and get back on it!

“If everyone is thinking alike, someone isn’t thinking” You If you behave like 80% of Americans that do not workout then you will  most likely be overweight and develop numerous health problems.  BE DIFFERENT.  Be yourself, think for yourself, do not let the opinions or attitudes of others affect yours.  It is your life that’s in your hands.  It’s up to you to change what you can.  Your current health status is comprised of your decisions compounded over time.  If you don’t like where you are then perhaps you should stop thinking like everyone else!  We trainers can help you make that behavioral change.  That’s our job!
