D.R. Fitness is a tennis performance, injury prevention and weight loss coaching program designed for people who want to improve their tennis game, health, and lifestyle.
Desiring to radically transform his physical and mental circumstances—Rich Straitiff, aka D.R.Fitness, now utilizes the experience gained in his personal fitness journey to bring these proven results and programs to the members and community of the Blakeney Club.
Becoming a certified trainer while in transition to Charlotte, NC. Richard is determined to achieve the performance and results that clients come to expect. Having gone through the difficult paths to a healthier version of himself, he leverages his experience by showing clients the smoother path to their lifestyle and health goals.
Richard will provide a personalized, one-on-one service to help you achieve your goals. With expertise in tennis performance and injury prevention, Rich will tailor an exercise program to meet your needs—whether that’s building up stamina or preventing injuries on the court.

Tennis Performance Training

Young tennis players are competing at higher levels than ever before which is why players need to develop footwork, power, and acceleration to get the edge against opponents on the court.
Our tennis performance program is geared toward youth tennis players from ages 10 and up to develop speed, quickness, agility, strength, power, balance, flexibility, and stamina. We offer private, semi-private, weekly classes, and a summer camp program to serve the Blakeney Club youth tennis players.

Blakeney Club
AMENITIES & LOCATION.
The Blakeney Club has fourteen well lit tennis courts. Two red clay courts, nine Har-Tru courts and three hard courts, including 4 indoor clay courts for year-round play.
Other amenities include swimming pool, fitness center, sauna, private locker rooms, pro shop, cafe and many more. The Blakeney Club is a fun place to play tennis, swim and meet people from all works of life. There’s plenty of club activities for people to improve upon their health and wellness journey!
